Our third and final (for now) comic con was this past weekend! Sarah and Oscar hit the road, traveling a little farther this time, and stayed overnight in the hotel where the two-day event was held. The Mahoning Valley Comic Con was great fun, and full of cosplayers. See pictures below! (By the way, did you notice we added a table runner with our logo? It arrived the morning of the con, with no time to iron it! Isn't it ironic . . . or not? ;) Our table was in the most tempting corner of the ballroom: between a fudge vendor and a Funko POP! vendor. We couldn't resist either one for very long! As always, we were happy to meet and connect with other local artists and fellow nerds! There was a costume contest (won by someone dressed as the Joker) and several special guests, including Deep Roy of Star Wars fame. There's a literary festival we hope to attend in October, and in the meantime, we'll be working hard to finish polishing and promote our upcoming books: The Blessed by Remy Apepp (coming in September), a dark literary fantasy and sequel to Sand to Glass; and The Narrative by Katherine Vick (coming in November), an epic-fantasy spoof and the third and penultimate book in the Plot Bandits series. We'll leave you with these photos to enjoy! As an Amazon associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
