As Skate’s burglaries become ever more dangerous, the mystery of her new employer becomes more and more insistent. Who is he? What does he really want? How much does he know about Skate and her unsavory connections? The girl pokes and prods to find out all she can, and finds magical trinkets and secrets she never intended to know.
