Signed Paperback Giveaway!

Because of continued restrictions and social distancing due to COVID-19, our authors are still unable to do in-person book signings right now. Fortunately, we've come up with a safe and fun alternative: See this blog post from early April. But we're giving it a little update here, since we have a new book available!

Skate the Thief by Jeff Ayers just released last Tuesday. Skate is a young adult fantasy book with a spunky nine-year-old protagonist who'll steal your heart . . . among other things.

Here's the book's short summary:

Skate is a thief, trained and owned by the local crime syndicate, the Ink. When she tries to burgle a shut-in’s home, she gets caught by the owner—a powerful undead wizard. He makes a deal with her: “borrow” books from other wizards in return for a place to stay.

Caught between her growing fondness for the wizard and her past with the crime syndicate, Skate doesn’t know where her loyalties lie. But she’d better figure it out, because there’s a new player in town, one whose magical hypnotism puts them all at risk.

In honor of Skate's publication, author Jeff Ayers—after sanitizing all materials involved!—will be signing and giving away a paperback copy of his book. The winner will be chosen at random using Rafflecopter. To qualify* to win the drawing:

1) Purchase the e-book of Skate (or leave a review of it if you don't have purchase proof available), then

2) Take a picture or screen shot of either the purchase receipt or the review, and then
